Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What forms of payment do you accept?  Cash, person or business check, money order and PayPal.
  2. I am a homeowner selling my property myself (FSBO). Can I use your services?  Yes.  Contact me through the website or call me.  My services are not exclusively for the Realtor community.
  3. What is the best time of the day to schedule a photo shoot?  The best light for photographing a home is early morning or late afternoon.  The middle of the day typically casts dark shadows on the exterior of the home and makes shooting the interior difficult due to the strength of the light from the exterior through the windows.
  4. Can I add a virtual tour after the photo shoot?  Yes.  A virtual tour can be added with the existing photos taken at anytime.
  5. What if it rains on the day of the photo shoot?  For rain days, we schedule for the next open day at no charge.
  6. What if the owner has to reschedule at a photo session to a another day?  If the cancellation is within 24 hours of the photo session, then a rescheduling fee of $25.00 is charged.  This is due to the fact that replacing the session with another is difficult, especially with the time it takes to prepare for a photo shoot.  Please be considerate of the photographer's time.
  7. Do you offer a discount for multiple photo sessions?  A discount can be offered for a single agent (or agents within a team) if purchased in advance.  The actual discount will be determined at the point of inquiry.
  8. Can you remove a distraction from the photos prior to being published?  For example a large radio tower seen when looking at the front of the house.  No.  The photographer will not render a photograph in a way that would be misleading to the viewer of the picture.
  9. What enhancements can I expect in the post processing?  Post processing includes correction for lens distortion, white balance correction, cropping the image, sharpening the image, correction of exposure among other enhancements.
  10. How will the photos be delivered?  The photos once processed will be available via the internet. The photographer uses DropBox.com or another similar file sharing source.  Typically the photos are too large to send via direct email.
